Embracing Entrepreneurship

Nurturing growth and innovation is a key component to a UMassOnline education. If you are interested in a career as an entrepreneur, we have some pretty cool news for you: Boston just topped a list ranking entrepreneurial growth, even finishing ahead of Silicon Valley!  

According to BostInno, Boston has a good number of successful startups and overall ventures for startups to make a good exit, a high quality of life, and a great support system for entrepreneurs. The city also boasts a large population of educated millennials and a healthy lifestyle. All these elements combine to create the ideal environment to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit.

UMassOnline has seven programs with a concentration in entrepreneurship. The degrees offered include three online certificate programs, two online bachelor degree programs, and two online master’s level programs. The programs range in credits required from 12 credits for one of the certificate programs up to 122 credits for one of the bachelor degree programs.

The great thing about having entrepreneurial spirit is that you can take your ideas with you anywhere. UMassOnline shares that spirit as you can receive a quality education from wherever you are or wherever your entrepreneurial soul takes you.
