Admissions

Admissions Requirements

Any person with a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) may register for courses. However, you must have a bachelor's degree to be admitted to a graduate degree program. Some courses may require prerequisite college-level work. Enrollment does not imply acceptance into a degree program.

Massachusetts Residency Not Required

There is no campus residency requirement so you complete your entire program from anywhere in the world.

Campus and Program Requirements

Each sponsoring campus has its own course requirements, fee structure, registration procedures, academic calendar, and admission policy. Course credits are not automatically transferable from one campus to another. Credit earned by successfully completing UMass courses from one campus can, in most cases, be transferred to other campuses, colleges, and universities. However, the transferability of the course is at the discretion of the accepting campus or school. It is your responsibility to confirm whether your campus or school will accept the transferred credits.

Start Courses Before Formal Admittance

At all campuses, students may register for courses before being formally admitted into a certificate or degree program.

Registration procedures vary from campus to campus, please note on which campus your course is located and check the links below.

What Students Are Saying

headshot "While deployed to Kuwait, I have found the UMass Isenberg Online Professional MBA Program to be very flexible in accommodating my schedule, especially when I am 7 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. There is no need to log in at a specific day or time, which makes it very convenient. Professors are very helpful and provide professional discussions and assistance via threaded discussions on the course website, or through email. During my deployment to the Middle East, I have been able to take courses to further both my military and civilian career. "
