- Pop-Up Blockers: Pop-ups must be allowed for the course website in order to use all features of the learning management system.
Some courses have additional software requirements. Please check our current course listing page to find out the software needed for specific course(s). Also check the tutorials and software pages for the software tutorials, updates and download locations.
Prior to attending an online course, students should learn how to log onto their Internet Service, use their web browser, send and receive email, and send and receive file attachments.
Attention AOL Subscribers!
AOL is a popular Internet Service Provider. However, many of the technical assistance calls that we receive come from AOL subscribers. In some cases, these problems can be resolved by using most recent version of Internet Explorer or Netscape as your Internet browser. These browsers can be used in conjunction with an AOL account. Access the web by logging on to AOL, but then minimize your AOL browser and open either Internet Explorer or Netscape to view your online course.

What Students Are Saying
"I travel regularly and it can be a real problem if you miss a (face-to-face) class. That's not the case with UMass Amherst's online MBA. I like the flexibility. I can do my work Monday nights, over the weekend, or at lunch. Anytime."
Robert Stark, Amherst MBA Program
