Karen Tan comes from within the UMass organization where she spent several years as a Technical Services Coordinator providing support to both desktop clients as well as online students in addition to overseeing the technical support office for the distance learning program. Prior to this role, she spent several years in a systems administration capacity and she brings with her a variety of technical support skills.
Her role at UMassOnline includes managing their help desk, supporting the learning management system, as well as managing communication and providing support to campus staff and faculty. She is also responsible for coordinating day-to-day work as it relates to the ongoing operations of the UMassOnline technology platform.
Karen holds her bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. |
