Bill McClure

Bill McClure is the Director of Continuing & Professional Education at the University Massachusetts Amherst. He leads a staff of 35 that serves more than 16,000 students/year. He is responsible for a broad and successful range of credit and non-credit, graduate and undergraduate classes and degrees that emphasize distance education delivery. He has taught business courses for several colleges and universities. He was a career senior officer in the United States Air Force. He earned two master's degrees: Education Administration and Business Administration (MBA). He is the recipient of several continuing education regional and national awards including the "Adelle F. Robertson Professional Continuing Education Award" (UCEA). Bill served in most of the UCEA Mid-Atlantic Regional elected positions, including Chair and is currently a UCEA commissioner and previously was the elected president of the Continuing Education Association of New York when he was with Binghamton University (NY). |
