New Programs

It comes with no surprise that colleges and universities are now offering additional courses or introducing new programs geared towards the field of security.

UMass recently announced the launch of several new master degrees in security studies. The areas of concentration now being offered in the programs are:

Global efforts to improve healthcare coverage and increase health awareness has led to a recent spike in jobs in the public health industry. While there are a number of different career paths one may take, the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that across the industry as a whole, jobs are expected to increase by 21% from 2012-2022, much higher than the national average of 11%.
