We are extremely excited to welcome Martin J. Meehan, our new president, to the University of Massachusetts family! His official presidency began the 1st of this month when he led a roundtable discussion with students at UMass Boston and said that he plans on turning UMass “into the best public university system in the nation.”

Congrats, Grads!
We want to wish our accomplished class of 2015 a very happy graduation! Whether they studied online, or in a classroom throughout our five campuses, these 17,000 graduates are joining the University of Massachusetts alumni network. UMass has a network of nearly 500,000 alumni located throughout the world.
UMass graduates are scientists, writers, public officials, artists, entertainers, athletes, business people and government officials.
