This course includes review of theoretical frameworks and research methods used to implement quality improvement in health care. Approaches to solving actual problems in clinical settings are considered, with emphasis on patients with chronic illnesses and other vulnerable patient populations. Students gain familiarity with quality improvement techniques from management, policy, and clinical perspectives.Prerequisite(s): Department permission required.
