Special Topics in Special Education: ASD: Progs,Services,&Supports

This course focuses on the design of effective educational programs and individual supports for students with ASD based on peer-reviewed research to the extent practicable to support students in the least restrictive environment. Knowledge of the range of specialized and individualized instructional strategies and supports for students with autism, including assistive technology, to address needs related to the core symptoms of autism will be discussed.Prerequisite(s): Graduate Degree Student in Special Ed.
