Chemistry by Example

This is the second semester of a two-course sequence. Addresses contemporary chemical issues and processes: colligative properties, types of reactions, reaction rates, solutions and solubility, electrochemistry, polymers, gas laws, calorimetry, vapor pressure and limited reagents. Explanations, predictions, hypotheses emphasized. Methods of inquiry modeled. Provides science teachers with experiences and chemistry content that they can confidently and effectively bring in to their own classrooms. Part of the Science Education Online.
