ST - Sustainable Finance Theory & Practice

The capital markets facilitate the flow of money to investments that optimize financial, societal and environmental impacts. Climate change, water scarcity, biodiversity, human rights and community relations, resource depletion, supply chain breakdowns, worker engagement, diversity and well-being, corruption, and economic inequality are among the material challenges that make sustainability assessment an imperative for successful organizations and investors. In this course, we will envision a world in which all forms of capital are accounted for and managed, and explore how sustainability factors, and economic, environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues are financially material to public and private entities, and across the spectrum of investment and business opportunities. Part of the online MBA program.
