Seminar- Emotion Dysregulation across Psychopathology

There is increasing evidence that emotion dysregulation (ED) plays a critical role in the development and maintenance of many forms of psychopathology. Thus, this seminar course will provide students with an overview of recent research related to the role of ED across psychopathology. Topics will include: definitions and models of ED, the association between ED and various psychological disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder), and the role of ED in evidence-based psychological interventions for these disorders.
