Instructs students in the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting. The financial accounting component presents techniques used to measure business transactions, preparation of financial statements, recording and valuation of assets, owners' equity, revenue, cost, and expenses. The managerial accounting component deals with techniques for management decision-making, planning, and control.Prerequisite(s): MBA AF 601 and Graduate degree student in Management. Department permission required.
