The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management program integrates courses in business, hospitality and tourism, the humanities, and social and physical sciences while enabling students to select from five specialization tracks:

To be considered for acceptance into the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management Degree Program, students must hold a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate.

2.  Complete application form and sign the bottom of the second page of the application. If you have any questions regarding the application, please email programs@ht.umass.edu.

3. Please include a personal essay and resume.

4. Request official transcripts from each college or university you have attended.

5. For those without previous college/university experience, please request official transcript of high school records, or its equivalent (GED certificate).

6. If you are applying for Financial Aid, please fill out the FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

7. Once you have completed the application, please send it to the address below.

Availability of financial aid varies depending on matriculation and course status. Please check with your program manager or advisor to determine your eligibility. Generally, if you are matriculated in a degree program and are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits each semester, you may qualify for financial aid. Please review our Financial Aid Checklist below.

Tips:

• Please renew your FAFSA form every year.
• When you register for classes, please contact the Continuing Education Business Office (413-545-0337) to let them know you that you have applied/are applying for financial aid. Also, it is in your best interest to register for your classes either by phone or fax (413-545-3653 ph; 413-545-0513 fax). If you do not intend to apply for financial aid, you can register online.
