Business Week The UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management Online Part-Time MBA program is the most flexible option for today's professional. As one of the first major accredited business schools to pioneer offering graduate education online, we are recognized today as a leader in offering a high quality MBA program that can be taken entirely online.

As the flagship campus for the University of Massachusetts, we strive to provide our students with the best learning experience possible. We are honored to have been ranked Top 10 "Best Part-Time MBA Program" in the Northeast Business Week for two consecutive years. For the fifth consecutive year, The Isenberg School of Management's Full-Time MBA Program ranks in the Top 10 Best Business Schools by Princeton Review. This year, Isenberg is ranked 7th nationally in the category, Greatest Opportunity for Women, according to Princeton Review's just-published The Best 301 Business Schools: 2010 Edition. Among the top ten ranked programs in that category, the Isenberg School placed second among business schools in New England.

Online courses are taught asynchronous meaning you can access your coursework at any time of the day or week - there is no campus residency requirement so you can complete your degree online from anywhere in the world - you choose the time that works best for you. This approach is attracting students from all 50 states and 23 foreign countries.

Students who live in the New England area also have the option of taking Part-Time MBA courses at any of our three Massachusetts satellite campus locations; evenings in Shrewsbury or Holyoke, or alternating weekends in Pittsfield.

Take Two Courses Before Applying

As a non-degree student (not yet formally accepted in the program), you can take two courses (typically 6 credits) before applying. This gives you the opportunity to experience courses in the Part-Time MBA Program and see if it's a good fit with your personal and professional goals. For assistance with choosing your courses or for more information, please contact the UMass Amherst Isenberg Graduate Programs Office.
