For those who already possess a bachelor's degree, but are interested in making a career change, the UMass Lowell campus offers a 10-course program designed to award a bachelor's degree in Information Technology to those students who successfully complete the program.
Intended Audience:
Students who have earned a bachelor's degree in an unrelated discipline from an accredited institution of higher education.

New students register for courses using UMass Lowell's New Student Registration Form. Follow the instructions for registering included on the form. Existing students register for their courses online by logging into the secure Intercampus Student Information System (ISIS).

To be considered for acceptance into the 2nd Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, you will need to provide your official transcript from an accredited institution of higher education showing proof that you have completed a bachelor's degree in a discipline not related to Information Technology.

2) Contact the educational institution from which you earned your bachelor's degree, and request that they send your official transcript directly to UMass Lowell at the address above.
UMass Lowell will review your application once all of your materials have been received. You can apply into the program at any time during the year. In order to be eligible for most financial aid, you will need to have applied and been accepted into the program.
