Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics

About:

The Graduate Online Certificate Program in Health Informatics is intended for students with a background in health who wish to be prepared to apply current information technology to the management of health care services and information.

Many students complete the certificate program before seeking admission into UMass Lowell's Master's Degree Program in Health Informatics and Management (a blended, online and on campus degree program), and the certificate courses they have taken are then accepted as credits toward their master's degree. Additionally, students who complete the certificate program with a GPA of 3.5 or better are not required to complete the GRE to apply for admission into the master's degree program.
