As part of a public state university, UMass Amherst University Without Walls (UWW) is committed to providing you with a great education and helping you save time and money. By offering a generous transfer credit policy and many creative and cost effective ways to earn credit, we are committed to helping you finish your bachelor's degree online as quickly as possible without unnecessary expense to you and your family.
The UWW core courses are $390 per credit. Per credit costs vary by department with costs ranging from $390 per credit to $482 per credit. As a UMass UWW student you will develop your program of study- called a concentration- by taking courses offered by various departments throughout the university.
Credits awarded for life and work experience are a fraction of the cost of course credits.

The UMass University Without Walls (UWW) seeks to admit adults who are determined to finish their bachelor's degree online and ready to work hard to complete a rigorous program of study.
To be considered for admission, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
• A minimum of 12 college credits
• A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
• You have not already earned a bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university.
Former UMass Amherst students
You are exempt from the 2.0 GPA requirement. We can help you finish what you started. Welcome back.
