This Urban Landscape and Garden Development Certificate is designed for community organizations, community gardeners, professionals, and laypersons interested in the field of landscape/garden design and the environment.
Recognizing the growing interest in the greening of the urban environment and the importance of creating and sustaining green spaces in cities, the Program will focus on the urban setting and its public and private green spaces. Special attention will be given to community gardens and the knowledge required to creating and maintaining them.
This online certificate program consists of 4 required courses, 2 elective courses, and an internship. Courses will cover Plants and Soils, Design and Planning, and Community Interaction.
