UMass Amherst Ranked as “Best Online Masters in Accounting”

In the accounting field, a master’s degree is key to career and salary advancement. Having a degree makes you a competitive applicant and in many cases leads to better pay. In its recently released rankings, College Choice named UMass Amherst's online accounting program as the 2016 “Best Online Masters in Accounting.”

The University of Massachusetts was ranked along with schools such as Bentley University, Northeastern University, Rutgers University, and the University of North Carolina. The rankings were based on cost of tuition and “weighted reputation score” from sources including U.S. News & World Report, The National Center for Education Statistics, and Payscale.com.

The Masters of Science in Accounting online program, offered by the UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management, prepares students for the business world and the CPA exam by providing a wide range of accounting and business skills. The fully accredited program is directed towards students with an undergraduate degree in accounting and uses a curriculum designed by alumni and executives in the accounting profession.   • Financial Statement Analysis
