Can International Students Apply For Online Programs Or Courses?

The University of Massachusetts incorporates diversity-related programming online for the entire community, and our programs are enriched by the unique perspectives and cultures of the international students. Students from over 70 countries attend the University of Massachusetts, and it is UMassOnline that makes it possible to further that diversity by increasing the accessibility of higher education to all corners of the Globe.

In order to be considered, international students are commonly asked to provide the following, but not limited to:

  • Registration form
  • Proof of non-immigrant status
  • Official Copy of English Language Proficiency
  • A copy of their current visa document
  • Employee authorization
  • Visa stamp
  • I-94 card

International students are an integral part of the diverse community that UMass strives to achieve. For those interested in receiving an undergraduate or graduate degree and would like more information regarding the program offered through UMassOnline, please contact the International and Scholars Office at the campus of your interest. Please note, all online programs go through one of the five UMass campuses.
