Offered through UMass Lowell's Manning School of Business, the Certificate Program in Accounting is designed for students who already have earned their bachelor's degree in another discipline. Students who enroll in this program will gain a better understanding of important accounting practices such as the preparation of financial statements, the valuation of corporate liabilities and the financial audit process.
This certificate has been developed to provide the undergraduate-level Accounting courses that are required as prerequisites for graduate-level Accounting degree programs. All of the courses in this certificate program can be used to fulfill prerequisite course requirements for UMass Lowell's Master of Science in Accounting.

Applicants will be required to have either their official high school transcript, HiSET®, GED® or their most recent college transcript sent to UMass Lowell. Undergraduate certificate applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and there is no fee to apply. Upon acceptance, notification will be sent to students.
