Options: Students can choose to complete the program 100% online or for those in the Massachusetts area, the option to take classes online and in-person at one of our three satellite locations: Springfield, Shrewsbury, and Boston.
Curriculum: Our curriculum instills quantitative skills and business acumen, and is delivered by the same accomplished faculty as our onsite classes. The Isenberg Online MBA can be completed in 37 credits (39 credits without prior business coursework). Core courses are offered online every Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. If you are interested in specializing in a certain area, we have focus areas in Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Care Administration, Marketing and Sport Management.

You have the option to take two classes (6 credits) before applying for your MBA, or while your application is being processed.

Admission to the Isenberg Online MBA Program is based on several criteria: Academic history, GMAT or GRE performance, motivation, aptitude for graduate-level work, and professional experience (3+ years post undergraduate work experience required) are all taken into consideration. No one academic background is favored in the selection of candidates.
Isenberg Online MBA admission requirements: an undergraduate degree from an accredited US institution (or its equivalent), online application, personal essay, official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, two letters of recommendation (professional preferred), resume/CV, official Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) OR Graduate Records Examination (GRE) score, and TOEFL score (if applicable).
At the Isenberg School of Management, we evaluate our applicants holistically and value professional accomplishments. While a strong GMAT/GRE score enhances any application, candidates are able to make a case for admission without a GMAT/GRE based on professional experience and academic achievements.
We provide automatic GMAT/GRE waivers for applicants who meet any of the criteria below:
- Doctorate Degree: JD, PhD, PharmD, MD/DO, or international medical graduate with an ECFMG or Fifth Pathway
- 10 years of professional work experience
- 5 years of professional work experience with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
