In 2020, for example, 2.7 million jobs will require business and analytical skills ( Isenberg’s Online Master of Science in Business & Analytics (MSB&A) is a 10-course, 30-credit program that you can complete in just one year and provides you with the foundational business skills you need.

Curriculum: The MSB&A curriculum instills quantitative skills and business acumen, and is delivered by the same accomplished faculty as our onsite classes. The Isenberg Online MSB&A can be completed in 30 credits. Courses include: Advanced Business Analytics, Business Data Analysis, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Corporate Finance, Data Management for Business Leaders, Financial & Managerial Accounting, Human Resource Management, Marketing Strategy, Python, and Project Management.

Course registration for all Isenberg online courses is administered by UMass Amherst University Without Walls (formerly known as CPE).

Isenberg Online MSB&A admission requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited US institution (or its equivalent)
  • Online application and $80 fee
  • Personal essay
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
  • Two letters of recommendation (professional preferred)
  • Resume/CV
  • Official Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) OR Graduate Records Examination (GRE) score
  • TOEFL score (if applicable)

Application deadlines for a summer start:

  • Early Action: December 1
  • Regular Application: February 1
  • Extended Deadline: March 1 (for current UMass Amherst students only)
